Research engineer / Software engineer

Are you a skilled, self-directed software engineer who would like to help us design and develop our next generation of products?

As a research engineer at Semmle, you will be given the freedom to pursue the best solutions to interesting problems. We are not looking for plug-and-play programmers to bang out glue code. You will have wide-ranging responsibilities for managing individual software projects, from design to deployment.

We don’t have a list of specific qualifications. Intelligence, creativity, and a good attitude are more important than experience or credentials. We use a wide variety of technologies, including Java, C++, C#, Objective C, Javascript, Python, Scala, Datalog, Windows, Linux, and git. If you do have experience with technology that we use, so much the better.
