The SemmleCode Eclipse plugin requirements are:

• Eclipse 3.2 or later
• A Java 5 or a later Java Virtual Machine
• A Windows or Linux OS

It is also recommended that you have at least 1024MB of memory when running SemmleCode. For a quick test drive of SemmleCode, that's all you need.

If you plan to use SemmleCode on large projects, and you want to fully benefit from its scalability, you may wish to consider using a full-fledged database system. SemmleCode currently supports PostgreSQL v8.1 (or better) and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express both freely available on the internet.
